Parking app
My goal was to analyse the process of buying a parking ticket, and find pain points. I want to create a simple and pleasant journey for the users and will make the process of buying tickets simpler.
Users no longer have to look for a parking metre or stand in a queue to buy tickets. They can buy tickets wherever they are. Anxiety related to the expiry of the ticket time has also been solved by the possibility of extending the parking time from any location. They also do not have to pay for unused time. They can stop parking at any time if they manage to get back to the car earlier than planned. Payments are easier and safer. The application offers several payment options and the user can choose the one that suits them.
Onboarding
The user completed full data in the "user profile" and in the "pay". Onboarding process requires only a minimum of data. Thanks to this, the user can quickly enter the application and become familiar with its interface.
Parking
In the parking tab, the user selects one of the three methods of calculating the ticket fee: time, start/stop or quote. In the analysed case, the user chose parking on time.
User scenario
The users open the application. They are greeted by a splash screen. After selecting the registration option, they enter the data. All they need is to create an account with an email and a password. Name and surname is not required.
The users enter the type of vehicle, then they enter the registration number and name of the vehicle. In the pay tab they proceed to top the account. They select the option of top-up by transfer. which goes to the bank's website.
After topping up the account the users see information about the status of their account. On the main page they choose an option “park for time”. At any time they can extend the time of the parking by pressing plus next to the time indicator.
